The Menzies Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon 1997- Vintage quality: Good. Awards & Accolades: 1 Gold
- Cellar guide: 10-15 Years
- Last tasted: 2000, Kevin Glastonbury, Winemaker
- Notes: Medium red in colour with purple hints. Lifted, ripe Coonawarra Cabernet fruit is evident on the nose, underpinned with cassis, chocolate and spicy oak. Upfront sweet berry fruit fills the mouth, with long grainy tannins, finishing firm, showing long term potential.
