SALA Festival for 2023

Born and bred in Port Pirie, and now residing in The Barossa Valley with his wife and Border Collie. An accomplished third generation painter by trade but has now transferred his skills and knowledge into the art realm. In recent times, Dylan has been heavily involved in the Yorke Peninsula water tower & art trail. Having worked on multiple towers and tanks, he has also won an Australian Street Art Award in 2023 for his own mural, ​“The Golden Clydesdale” at the Coobowie Hotel in the Best Rural Art category. 

This transfer of painting fields started about 10 years ago, dabbling in sign writing and other private art practices and commissions. Two years spent living in the Canadian Rocky Mountains further progressed Dylan’s art. After this, three months living out of a van throughout Western North America, was then the cherry on top for Dylan’s international travels. Collaborating and making art on the road, inspired by all the glorious natural wonders along the way — places and people. Now a resident of the Barossa Valley for the last three years, Dylan continues to practice his art out of his studio in Angaston, as well as sign writing and murals local and afar.
