We are delighted to be the festival's major wine partner in 2023 and are excited to be bringing back iconic Melbourne restaurant Chin Chin to our winery for a second year, following their successful debut in 2022.

Led by Executive Chef Benjamin Cooper, the Chin Chin team will make themselves at home here on 6 & 7 May serving their famous Southeast Asian cuisine alongside our Yalumba Barossa wines.

The weekend festivities include our popular Yalumba x Chin Chin pop up restaurant, with four sessions over the weekend. As well as the fun and festive Yalumba x Chin Chin GoGo Lawns, where you can settle in, stay awhile and enjoy delicious bar snacks by Chin Chin while sipping on a glass of Yalumba. Each ticket to the GoGo lawns includes four Chin Chin bar snacks; a Banh Mi, Chin Chin Crispy Wings, Spanner Crab Sandwich and a Butter Chicken Pie, as well as a glass of Yalumba wine and a Riedel wine glass to take home.

Adelaide’s Victoria Square will once again be transformed in the Tasting Australia Town Square, where people can wander in and enjoy a range of food and wines by the glass. Come find us at our Yalumba bar for a tipple of our best wines, a great place to meet friends at the start of your night.

If you work in the city, take advantage of the Express Lunches, where you can enjoy a main course and glass of Yalumba, catch up with friends, then get back to your day.

We look forward to Smoked in the Town Square Kitchen on Saturday night 29 April, where top chefs Karen Martini, James Lowe and Tim Hardy will craft a menu inspired by the most primal of cooking methods. Paired with some rare museum releases and dazzling classics from our wine collection.

Increase your wine knowledge with the ever-popular Masterclass series, where you can taste and learn from the best. Join our very own Lousia Rose at Women in Wine and The Langtons Classification, Jessica Hill-Smith in Generation Next or Robert Hill-Smith as he explores Cabernet-King of the Grapes.

Over on North Terrace, join the team from 2KW for Art, Food and Wine during Tasting Australia at the Art Gallery of South Australia, matching our wines including The Signature with the Art Gallery of South Australia’s esteemed collection.
