The 1997 Signatory is Vittorio ('Vic') Di Biase, a gentle and unassuming Italian born Cellarhand who moved to South Australia in 1955 and joined Yalumba in 1961. Vic has spent his time in the Cellar specialising in looking after all types of filtration in the pre-bottling process and has become an immensely popular character amongst the Vintage and Cellar team. With an amazing 40 years working at Yalumba, Vic epitomises the qualities Yalumba looks for when selecting the Signatory.
