| || "The Quaff 2011 ‘For They Are Jolly Good Chaps’ WINERY OF THE YEAR AWARD Yalumba In terms of performance in Quaff over the past five years, it’s been a tight tussle each year between Angove, De Bortoli and Yalumba. This year Yalumba’s performance was remarkable. It dominated the cask wine segment, as is its wont. For the first time, each of its top white casks (labelled ‘Premium Selection’) was rated Bloody Good. Of the nine ‘Y Series’ wines submitted, six were rated Bloody Good and three Good. Its Vermentino and Galway Shiraz were also outstanding. In terms of value for money, the Yalumba wines will stand up to (or beat) the best in the world. Yalumba is the worthy winner of the Quaff 2011 Winery of the Year."
