4 Stars - "Yalumba Y Series wines invariably offer great varietal idenity on a budget. They are "honest" wines, not overly spruced up by residual sugar, oak chips or other artefact. This merlot sums it all up; attractively fresh raspberry and blackberry aromas, some earthy touches, medium body, attractive succulence, balanced light tannins."
