"Roast pork is enhanced by a little sweetness, hence apple sauce and all the other condiments that are put with it. This red blend (Yalumba Y Series Shiraz Viognier 2007) contains viognier, which gives the shiraz some apricot and honey aromatics, as well as more softness and fruitiness. That's why it goes so well with the pork."
