"The evidence is clear with the recent release of its Hand Picked Single Site range. These wines focus on single vineyards in the Barossa and neighbouring 'Eden Valley and have been made by winemaker Kevin Glastonbury.
There are five in the first release, all from the excellent 2005 vintage - two grenache and three shiraz. Four are featured this week- the fifth is the Habermann Vineyard Bethany Barossa Grenache.
All are made in the same manner, as far as possible, which means that within those two varieties wine lovers will get a chance to see exactly what different sites in the Barossa have to offer.
As enticing as the grenache wines are from this region, it's the shiraz that really shines. The quantities made of these new single site wines are not huge - between 250 and 350 dozen of each. The range will continue but the vineyards will change from year to year depending on how they perform."
