"This column often sings the praises of Yalumba's Y Series. Unlike some budget-priced competition, it isn't alwasy boosted by lots of sweetness, remaining a true expression of the grape. Smelling of floral potpourri, ginger and apricots, ths is a mellow, complete wine with good underlying structure. (13.5% alcohol, screwcap)." FOUR STARS. Ageing? Not needed. Food ideas : Chinese steamed portk buns; vegetable tagine.
