Yalumba The Virgilius Eden Valley Viognier 2006

Virgilius, Barossa winery Yalumba's top viognier, has real complexity. A nose of white flowers, potpourri, nutty yeasty touches and a whisper of good oak lead to a palate that's deeply flavoured. Creamy texture contrasts perfectly with fine phenolic structure and it finishes lingering and fragrant. (14.5% alcohol; screwcap.)

Ageing: Drink over two years.

Food Ideas: Barbecued lobster; Indian-spiced chicken kebabs.
