 89 points - "One of the bargains of the year. Beautifully lifted, aromatic, spicy and delicious. Not apricotty, just perfumed and spicy. Lovely juicy drinkability, cherries and blueberries and tobacco. This wine sees almost no oak, other than the odd declassified barrel from further up the Yalumba chain. Tremendous South Australian red wine - with a good deal of savouriness - bravo!" Drink: 2008-2011.
