Paddy Kendler agrees Wrattonbully is a region perfect for white wines too!
"An appealing and interesting dry white produced at Yalumba from its relatively young vineyards at Wrattonbully, north of Coonawarra. So far, the area has been known for premium reds, but there seems no reason why white grapes shouldn’t flourish as well. In this case, grassy and herbaceous characters are to the fore with some green bean, pea and citrus. Neatly balanced with gentle acidity and made to be enjoyed with food from the sea rather than for the idle quaffing. 4/5 points – Fine Drop."
