Matt Skinner, sommelier for Fifteen, knows good wine. His book, 'The Juice 2007' is all about good wine that's great value. As he says:
"Yalumba is constantly applying the spit and polish to the lower end of its portfolio, and it seems that 150 years of experience has taught the company a great deal about value for money. Sourced from a mix of fruit from Barossa and Adelaide Hills, the result here is an insanely aromatic wine with truckloads of apricot/citrus fruit and exotic spice smells. The palate is inky and rich, with more ripe apricot fruit, soft acidity and good length."
