| On Thursday the 27th of October, Yalumba was Awarded the Environmental and Energy Management Award at the10th Annual Rabobank Agribusiness Awards for Excellence 2005.
The awards are a joint initiative of Monash University and Rabobank, the world's leading specialist in food and agribusiness banking. The awards are now recognised as the premier honour of corporate and individual achievement
within Australia’s beverage, food, fibre and agribusiness industries.
The Key Selection Criteria for the Award are:
1. Demonstration of a holistic approach to environmental management and
preservation within a profitable agribusiness
2. Demonstration of improvements in managing greenhouse gas emissions whilst maintaining or improving business performance
3. Demonstrated influence on environmental management within communities, catchments and the broader industry.
The Australian Greenhouse Office has sponsored this award, recognising
the high achievement in meeting environmental targets while building
productive capacity. |
