A YALUMBA Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz has been awarded the Barossa Wine Show’s best red wine for the fifth consecutive year.
Announced 20 September 2012, Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2010 was awarded three trophies, including the Rod Schubert Trophy for most outstanding Barossa red table wine and the Wine Business Traveller Trophy for best wine of the show.
Yalumba The Signature 2010, which is due to be released in May 2014, is the fifth consecutive Yalumba Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz blend to be awarded the Rod Schubert Trophy.
Previous winners were the Yalumba FDR1A 2009 (at the 2011 show), Yalumba The Signature 2008 (in 2010), Yalumba The Reserve 2006 (in 2009) and Yalumba FDR1A 2006 (in 2008).
